Television Debut, Feature on CBS

My television debut!! As an architect and expert, I am a seasoned public speaker...but this was my first EVER time on live TV. It's such a different world than the one I'm used to living in--and what a fantastic experience!

Being behind the scenes of live television was so neat. There was a highly professional yet casual energy--lots of camaraderie and laughs during the breaks. The newscasters were so great (and fun, and dare-I-say intimidatingly cool), as was the director. I was really surprised that there were so few people on set: all of the cameras were fully robotic (/remote-operated)! WJZ CBS Baltimore/Channel 13 was such an incredible host and extremely generous with their airtime for The Secret Doors of Cannondale. I am so thrilled about the opportunity to share my book and a tiny slice of my story on real TV!
